Being with U. Tim & A. Kirsi

Laying down like this to read books or play with toys

Playing with her bellybutton (second to play with her ears)

Pressing the buttons on anything with buttons whether to the fan, the remote, the computer, the phone....anything

Drinking from cups, cans, bottles, she loves to try to drink herself

Pretending to talk on the phone

Drinking from her new water bottle

Okay I am posting another crazy hair photo, so this time I want to explain....everytime Katie wakes up from sleeping her hair is always up in some wierd style. I love getting it on cameras so if in the future I post more like it you will understand why.

Kaitlyn's 1st Birthday

So it has been one year since I was all big and pregnant wondering when the baby would come and now we have this wonderful little girl. She is the joy of our life. We couldn't have asked for anything more wonderful then this, so many thoughts run through my head right now of how I felt over the last year. She has changed my life so much for me having Katie was a special thing because for me it completed the life I always wanted to have. I not only get to teach kids but I also get to be a mother to one what more could I ask for.

Things we love about Katie:

-Her smile
-Her love of adventure
-Her need to always have more input and learn new things
-Her sweet and gentle spirit
-Her facial expressions
-The ways she makes us feel so special

Those are just a few and we could go on but it would take awhile so till next birthday here are a few pictures of the last year...ENJOY!

Birthday/Anniversary/Valentine's Post all in One!

Well, Phil's birthday has come and gone, our anniversary has come and gone, and now Valentine's has come and gone without me posting anything so I thought I would take a moment to write a little something up since I am in the blogging mood. I always had a dream and that was to get married, have kids and with that live a happy life. I have to say that so far that is what has happened. Of course we have our ups and downs and life is not perfect but I do have to say that as much as me and Phil are different in so many ways we compliment each other in just the right ways. We have so many differences of opinions that some wonder how or even why we are together. I have to say that even though we have those things it is just what I need at least without it there wouldn't be that challenge or excitement in learning how to work with and stretch in areas I wouldn't normally have to stretch in. You see the areas where we difference are areas I normally don't have to deal with but because we are married I have to talk about it or work it out I can't just leave it or side step it I have to face it and work it out. It is good though as much as I clash with Phil at the same time it is good cause it draws us closer together as we communicate and understand each other just that much better. You know the saying, "Have a good laugh at yourself." Well, I am having to learn to laugh a bit more and not be so uptight, I am also having to discuss things more and learn to share my opinion but at the same time not coming across to strongly. When we got together the Lord said that being together would help me to grow in the areas I nee ded to the most. I have to say that He was right and I can say I am a richer, happier, and more well rounded person for it. I look forward to spending the years ahead with you (Phil). The joy you bring to my life and the way you are with me despite all my odd traits makes me so happy and feels my heart with such love and joy. I just want you to know that there is no one better for me and I hope it stays that way till Kingdom Come.

Here are some pics of us from over the last 5 years we have been together.........we are starting our 6th year together
